How it works

You hand out, they drive with Premium

You buy the codes and give them away. Everyone activates their own, with their own TrapSpotter account.

You buy codes

In batches of at least 25, for 6 or 12 months of Premium. You pay in advance, with one invoice per batch.

You hand them out

On a card, in an email or with the keys of a new car. Each code works once, until a date we agree together.

They activate at trapspotter.com/code

Signed in with their TrapSpotter account; anyone without one creates one for free. Premium is in the app straight away.

They drive with Premium

For 6 or 12 months, with no automatic renewal. After that, everyone decides for themselves whether to keep paying.

You get the codes from us as a list. You need no account or console to hand them out.

About activating, paying and what you see as a partner.

How does someone activate a code?
At trapspotter.com/code, signed in with the same TrapSpotter account as in the app. Premium is then in the app straight away. A code can only be activated on the website, not in the app itself.
Does Premium renew automatically?
No. After 6 or 12 months, Premium stops by itself, and nobody pays anything. Whoever wants to continue takes out a subscription themselves.
What if someone already pays for Premium?
Their own subscription carries on: a code does not stop it. When they activate, they are advised to cancel their own subscription, or they would pay twice.
How long does a code stay valid?
Each code works once, until the batch's activation deadline, which we agree together. If a list falls into the wrong hands, we can revoke the codes that have not been used yet.
How do we pay?
In advance, with one invoice per batch. The codes work as soon as the invoice is paid. Our prices exclude VAT; Belgian customers will also get their invoice over Peppol as soon as that connection is ready.
Can we start small?
Yes: the smallest batch is 25 codes. That way you see how your customers or members take to it before you order more.
Does it work for a federation and all its members?
Yes. If a federation gives Premium to all its members, we make a price per member to measure. Ask for a quote.
Which countries?
For organisations in Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France and Germany. Premium works in the app as for any user: in France speed cameras show as danger zones, and in Germany the driver may not use such an app while driving.
